Sorry that this is a super-short chapter- my game froze halfway through so I just decided to update my blog with the pics I’d already taken. The next chapter will be longer! 😛
The Valentino household was full to the brim- with four adults, two teens and a toddler the new house felt as tiny as the old one. So it wasn’t too much a surprise to Autumn when Harry came up to her and explained his plans to move out. He had just joined the athletic career, and thought it was time to get his own place with Zach and Penny.
Autumn put on a brave face as she watched her son drive away to his new life with his new family, but couldn’t help sobbing onto Simon’s shoulder after they’d gone. Over the next couple of days she spent hours in Harry’s old room, looking tearfully at the collection of sports trophies and rewards that he’d built up over the years.
But there was no time for moping as it was the twins birthdays, and time for Autumn to announce which sister would inherit the legacy! Foxy wanted to throw a big party, but for Bianca’s sake Autumn invited just a couple of friends over to watch Foxy and Bianca blow out their candles in unison.
As she grew up into a young adult, Foxy chose to wear a lacy, kinda see-through top that Autumn would probably not have let her wear before. “But I’m an adult now!” Foxy thought gleefully.
Bianca didn’t really change much about her appearance- she wasn’t too bothered about the way she looked as the two main loves in her life were painting and her boyfriend Trinity, who she knew loved her whatever she looked like.
After the last guest had left, Autumn took both her daughters into the kitchen. Now that she was getting old, she needed to choose an heir to take over her legacy, and after a lot of thought she had finally decided who it would be.
Autumn took a deep breath, and announced that the heir to her legacy would be Foxy. Bianca was the obvious choice, but she didn’t think Bianca’s nerves would stand to taking on the huge responsibility of a legacy and besides, she hoped that being the heir might teach Foxy some responsibility.
As the heir was revealed, Bianca let out a huge sigh of relief and pulled her sister into a hug. Although she would have been honoured to inherit the legacy, she was much happier without the stress of being the heiress on her shoulders.
That night, while the girls were sleeping, a burglar broke into the house! I’m pretty surprised that Foxy, being evil, didn’t wake up in time to stop the burglar, but by the time the twins woke up the thief was already heading out the door with some of their hard-earned stuff stowed away in a bag.
When the policewoman finally arrived she was met by a hysterical Bianca. It took a while to calm her down, but eventually she did and went inside to check that the stove was off.
The next day, Foxy woke up early. She’d heard gossip around town about an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town that was being used by a gang of criminals as a hideout. After the burglary last night, Foxy had been inspired to carry out her dream of becoming a Master Thief and was heading down there to see if they’d consider employing her.
As Foxy walked in, the criminals had burst out laughing. Employ a girl? But as she answered their questions, they realised how evil she was, as well as being a Klepto, and they grudgingly offered her the position of Decoy. It wasn’t the position Foxy had envisioned but she knew she wouldn’t stop working until she reached her goal!
